Certainly Steve Martin may not be a small-screen regular, but there was a time (read: Saturday Night Live) when Martin was all about the tube. Tonight, Martin returns to his mother ship station NBC, not to host SNL for the 546th time, but rather to guest-star on 30 Rock, a show with seemingly endless resources for guest appearances. This season alone has featured Jennifer Aniston, Oprah Winfrey, and Megan Mullally within the span of three episodes. Martin, the multi-talented comedian that brought us the acclaimed novel Shopgirl and New York Times bestseller Born Standing Up (Martin's own autobiography), thousands of quotable SNL skits and an extensive library of films, will bring the funniest show on television to another level. Indeed, it seems nothing can stop the comedic train that is Steve Martin, and Rock is hoping to use this guest appearance to lure massive amounts of oblivious viewers to jump on board. 30 Rock airs tonight at 9:30 p.m. on NBC.
