This is undoubtedly the Edward Cullen fantasy many girls and guys have dreamed of since Stephenie Meyer released her ever-popular four-book Twilight series, which depicts an unconventional love story between a vampire and a human girl. With all of its well-deserved popularity, the first book of the series was made into a movie and hits theaters tonight at midnight.
On Monday, the cast of Twilight attended the Hollywood premiere in style. Kristen Stewart, who plays the leading role of Isabella Swan, looked stunning as she showed off her tri-colored Balenciaga dress. To top off this chic and edgy look, Stewart paired her dress with a clutch and jewelry from Chanel, as well as classic black Christian Louboutin pumps. According to In Style magazine, Stewart said, "You end up at these things and you're never wearing your own clothes. The fact that I can borrow all of this for a little while is fun."
The man of the hour was undeniably Robert Pattinson, aka Edward Cullen. Pattison is known for his unique and innovative style. As fans fainted at the mere sight of him, Pattinson strutted down the red carpet sporting an all-black Marc Jacobs suit, which highlighted his signature disheveled hairstyle. When In Style reporters asked him about his do, he claimed in his sweet British accent, "It doesn't take any time at all. I've never had so many people say, 'It must be mousse!'" Pattinson claims he simply runs his fingers through his thick hair and voila, his look is complete.
Edward's adopted sister, Alice Cullen, is played by actress Ashley Greene in the film. Greene showed up to the premiere dressed in a funky satin bustier dress by Ina Soltani. She successfully accessorized her dark silhouette with a black Kotur clutch, jewelry from Neil Lane, and a pair of Jimmy Choo shoes.
Taylor Lautner, who plays the role of Jacob Black, arrived at this big-time premiere sporting a stylish and casual Jean Paul Gaultier suit, leaving his neck exposed for any hungry vampires.
Sexy trendsetter Cam Gigandet plays bad boy vampire, James, in the action-packed film. Looking as modish as ever, Gigandet strayed from the customary "suit" look and threw on a black leather jacket, which complemented his edgy biker boots. For his final accessory, he wrapped a plaid scarf around his neck to keep him warm in this fall weather.
Looking as stunning as ever, which is typical for any coven of vampires, the cast indisputably had a successful movie premiere night. Twilight is bound to be yet another unforgettable film to hit the box offices.
