1. Saturday Night Live Weekend Update - The presidential election always brings out the best work from SNL's writers, so this time around, NBC has given them an extra half hour every Thursday this month to burn off all their remaining "John McCain is old" jokes. Boston College alum Amy Poehler and head writer Seth Meyers report from behind the anchor's desk, and it's more than likely that Tina Fey will show up with her now now classic Sarah Palin impression. Catch it live after The Office on NBC, Thursday at 9:30 p.m.

2. King of the Hill - You may not know this, but King of the Hill is still on the air. This long-running, Emmy-winning cartoon is one of the funniest sitcoms on television, yet no one seems to realize it. Sunday night is not a big TV night for the college crowd, but if you can spare 30 minutes, check it out. But do not stick around for Family Guy. FOX, Sunday at 8:30 p.m.

3. South Park - If more irreverent humor is up your alley, then you should be pleased to know that the fourth-graders from Colorado are back this month to make fun of anything or anyone that needs to be taken down a notch. But because this is a college campus, you probably already know that. Still, it's nice to read about it once and awhile. Tune in to Comedy Central, Wednesday at 10 p.m.
