Editorial Assistant Diana C. Nearhos used to introduce herself to people as Di until she realized they might take it more like a command than an introduction. The truth is that she probably has the hardest job on The Heights. She does the jobs no one else wants to do - including taking down 37 different dinner orders every Sunday. She barely has time to consume entertainment, being a Heights editor and president of Allies, but when she does, she enjoys TV shows like Gilmore Girls and Top Chef. So here's to you, Ms. Nearhos...
1. If you could be any TV character, who would you be and why? Rory Gilmore is pretty awesome. She goes to Yale, is editor-in-chief of the paper, and all around great.
2. My magazine of choice is … Sports Illustrated and The New Yorker.
3. My favorite author/book is ... Not going to lie, Ella Enchanted by Gail Levine is my comfort book.
4. The movie I've watched 100 times is... Remember the Titans. It makes me smile.
5. The best concert I ever saw was ... Black Eyed Peas. They look like they are having fun just jamming on stage, rather than uber-rehearsed and choreographed.
6. My drink of choice is … Sprite and Lemonade, no alcohol.
7. My favorite Law and Order is ... They're all great, but I love SVU… whatever that says about me.
8. Where I hope to be in the next 10 years is … Doing something I love, hopefully involved with history and/or journalism, while still helping people.
