1. Heroes - Fans of NBC's superpower drama have been waiting since December for a new episode, and from all accounts (read: spoiler) the two-hour premiere of Villains is everything we want. Forget the plodding second season, the aptly named "The Second Coming" episode has time travel, romance, and not one but 12 new villains. Borrow the DVDs to catch up, then tune in to season three on Monday at 8 p.m. NBC, Monday at 9 p.m.
2. Fringe - The new show from J.J. Abrams (Alias, Lost) is simply irresistible. The pilot had all the promise of a well-written, well-acted, and well-produced series that resembles The X-Files in the best way. Plus, there must have been a collective shout on campus when they visited "Boston College" and one of "our" professors appeared as a villain in the second episode. Is a Boston school besides Harvard finally getting screen time? Find out on Fox, Tuesday at 9 p.m.
3. Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles - This week's episode delivered when John finally started to step up as the future leader of the resistance. Most intriguing is Summer Glau's character Cameron, a teenaged terminator with a damaged chip. Can the group prevent Skynet from being created and avert a nuclear holocaust? Find out on FOX, Monday at 8 p.m.
