Everyone wants to be Denzel Washington. But that's impossible. What's the next best thing: being his adopted child or at least hanging out in his aura for a while. He is to the music business what a tyrant is to a nation - he owns movies and we bow to him - but he also continues to further his reputation as a genuinely good person, despite his many roles as terrifying, corrupt men. His integrity is exhibited by his long-lasting marriage; he seems to be the only leading man in Hollywood these days whose marriage has lasted longer than a tic-tac. If you're not a fan of his movies, then you pretty much don't like movies - or people who are really, really good at things. Denzel could be the most engaging, powerful, and charismatic actor of all time. This is certain. But could any music playlist live up to this towering persona? I didn't think so.
