If you've ever glanced at the last couple pages of The Scene (instead of reading the actual articles), you may have noticed a lovely little comic strip called "Girls And Sports." The clever comic explores the twisted, humorous relationship between the two passions of men (i.e., chicks and football … right?) as seen through the clueless eyes of Bradley and Marshall, two animated, yet loveable, best friends.

The two characters and their hand-drawn playground are the artistic creation of Justin Borus and Andrew Feinstein, two high school buddies from Denver, Colo., who are also, presumably, preoccupied with the two subjects of their comic title. The duo came up with the idea for their thought-bubbling friends while studying in Denmark during their junior year of college. They soon brought their comic concept back to the States and began publishing it in their own school newspapers (no, not The Heights). Following its initial debut, "Girls And Sports" picked up significant popularity among other college publications and then went on to be a national hit. The comic strip eventually expanded into a business and is now syndicated in over 200 college and mainstream newspapers across the country.

This story strikes particular relevance now because one side of its creative force, Andrew Feinstein, will be making a visit to Chestnut Hill this week in an event sponsored by the Boston College Entrepreneur Society. Feinstein will be speaking about his unexpected but prosperous career path, hoping to inspire smart and strong-willed undergraduates with similar aspirations of establishing their own businesses. The event will take place on Wednesday in Fulton 511 at 7 p.m.

If you don't consider yourself to be interested in entrepreneurial ventures, come to get a little friendly advice on the ladies. And girls, I'm sure you can learn a bit about sports as well.
